THE PLASTIC FREE PLEDGE
Welcome! My name is Martin and the purpose of this website is to call attention to our Earth's plastic pollution problem. I believe that one person can make a difference, and that person can be you.
OUR OCEANS
We should be in a state of panic. Our ocean and wildlife are in danger and it's  all our fault. About 4.8 to 12.7 million tons of plastic is dumped in the ocean each year. Fortunately, this doesn't have to be all bad. Hopefully, the state of our ocean can bring together people together to complete the common goal of helping our environment. Each person can make a difference by adjusting their habits a bit. Join us in saving our environment so that our children and their children can live without fear.
OUR MISSION STATEMENT
Whether or not you believe in global warming, plastic pollution is real, dangerous, and a serious threat to marine life. It is important that we try to help stop plastic pollution before it is too late.
HOW WE CAN HELP
Help by ending your use of "single-use plastics" such as plastic utensils, plastic plates, plastic water bottles, etc. Instead use reusable straws, biodegradable or "long term plastic" plates, reusable water bottles, etc. See the materials page for more supplies and check alternative ways to help for more ideas.
